Proud Mary
Proud Mary..is a 27 inch high x 24 inch wide doll..she is made of muslin, and has been sun-baked. Her face is needle-sculpted,her eyes..a wonderful pair of blue-ish gray buttons,stitched on. Her nose is patched on. Her wings are grapevine with rusty star garland, sewn and glued to her.. Her dress is a burgundish stripe, with grungy color-washed cheesecloth for her bodice. Sewn to her arm is a grungy flag which has also been sewn to a stick. She wears a crown of rusty star garland, sewn and glued in.
Her skirt is gruNgy enough for her to stand against something, but there is a loop for hanging, if you should like. She has no legs.

Elephant and Donkey
Fashioned to resemble pull toys of the past,with an Americana twist. Made of painted,sanded,stained and baked osnaburg. My design.

Olde Sam and Betsy Make~Dos
All of our favorite Summer holidays will soon be upon us! I love Americana, its the greatest way to accentuate all your old collections.
Sam and Betsy are made of muslin. Each have needle-sculpted faces. I have given them old buttons for eyes..the reason being..that these old white buttons are becoming harder to come by. They have been painted, sanded, stained and baked. I've sewn flax on for hair.
They are glued and tied to old bobbins. These are substanial and heavy make-dos, very weighty!
Sam stands at about 18 inches, Betsy is 16 inches.

Americana Puppy
Running straight for that plate of BBQ'd ribs! lol..oh he is a sweet pup, made of muslin. Painted,sanded,stained and baked. He has a pocket sewn on filled with a red,white and blue stars, with star garland. Sewn to old spools..to make his journey faster!
He's kind of a square..(not really!) but he is 7 inches long and 7 inches high..perfect for a small space!
